Ahem. Sorry for the unsightly presentation. I'm a rookie alrite?! But trust me, it tastes good!
Ingredients:
250 gr Basa fish fillets (or any other soft-fleshed fish will do)
3 medium sized potatoes, cut into bite-sized pcs
3 cloves of garlic, chopped coarsely
1 tbsp cooking oil
1 tbsp curry powder (I used Ayam Brand)
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp kecap manis (Indonesian sweet soy sauce)
2 stalks of coriander, chopped coarsely
1 L water
(optional) 1 tbsp Chinchalok chili sauce
Method:
1. Heat up oil, add garlic, sautee till fragrant
2. Add potatoes, stir
3. Add water, Basa fillets, curry powder. Stir, bring to boil
4. When water has reduced by about half, add kecap manis and salt. Stir gently (fish is flaky)
5. Remove from heat when the water has completely evaporated.
6. Serve, garnish with chopped coriander (and Chinchalok chili sauce)
Serves 2-3
