pancakes on the rocks

i've been a real bad food blogger cos i hardly took pictures when dining out. yes i always forgot the lil camera! only when the food started arriving that i remember oh bugger..anyway this is the first time tht i remembered, so here comes the snaps! we were dining at pancakes on the rocks. yes, this is the main inspiration behind the pancious restaurants in jakarta. apparently the owner used to study in sydney and loved the idea of a pancakes restaurant like pancakes on the rocks, so she went back and made one. grr, yeah go jump in the foreign brand copycats bandwagon along with sour sally will ya. i hate copycats

after!

so every time me & my friends went to potr, we never ever finished our meals. so today i was super determined to finish alllll of my share of food. true, i finished them, but about a second later i knew better. was feeling the effect of all the gobbling down. full to the brim. feeling super pukey. in fact i then made a run to the nearest toilet to try to vomit. sersly. too bad i couldn't. 5 mins later i felt better.

My World Cup Inspiration - USA

"I'm a little gutted. I don't know how they stole the goal from us. I'm not sure what the call was. It's too bad because I think that was a fair goal. I saw a good finish and a good goal. He [the referee] wouldn't tell us what the call was. [But] I'm proud of our guys. My guess is there's not many teams in this tournament that could have done what we did. We know we're good enough to play against a team like that. We can't keep putting ourselves in holes like that. We've got one more chance against Algeria, and we're still alive."

Landon Donovan

"I still don't know why the goal was disallowed. This team still understands how to fight for 90 minutes. This is something we've seen time and time again. It is important to understand that the players put a lot of emotion into the game and now they want a fair outcome."

Bob Bradley

Now I'm no longer wondering why USA is the #1 country in the world. May not have anything to do with money. It is in their spirit. Any other team I'm sure would have thrown a bitch fit at being denied not one, but TWO perfectly legit goals. But that's not how the Americans roll. They persist on and look where it got them.

Well done, boys. I'm so proud.

God bless America!
